Irrigation water:
Irrigation water use incorporates water that is applied by an irrigation system to sustain plant growth in agricultural and horticultural practices. Irrigated acres are reported by 3 types of irrigation methods: sprinkler, micro Irrigation, and surface (flood) systems. Trickle irrigation is the most efficient and appropriate method of wetting the whole field surface, water is applied only to the plant root zone. Trickle irrigation system in which water is delivered at the root of the plant, drop by drop and also known as Drip irrigation. These are substances necessary for the metabolism and photosynthesis in plants including macronutrients (i.e. N, P, K, Ca, Mg and S) and micronutrients (i.e. Fe, Mn, B, Cu, Mo, Zn and Si).
