Income inequality and social mobility are two of the most pressing economic issues of our time, deeply impacting individuals' ability to improve their socio-economic status. This article examines the relationship between income inequality and social mobility, exploring how high levels of income disparity can restrict economic opportunities and limit upward mobility. We analyze the primary drivers of income inequality, including education, labor market structures, and economic policy, and assess their impact on social mobility across different regions and populations.
