Given the huge potential of ICT to bring about radical changes in business processes and hence enhanced competitiveness, this paper discusses how ICT-integration by microenterprises can lead to women empowerment and rural development in India. As ICT-based tools are growingly becoming affordable and accessible among the masses, women???s initiatives can embrace such technologies for better competitiveness, reducing costs, and also attracting more customers.
