The development of skills that stimulate reflection, critical analysis and imagination are fundamental to improve teaching-learning processes. Therefore, the promotion of creativity must play a central role in the transformation of teaching practices in this field. In this sense, the use of art as a teaching resource is a way to stimulate creativity. This paper analyzes the possibilities of using different multimedia resources about contemporary art as an educational tool for the teaching of non-artistic disciplines, specifically economics. The analysis shows that there is a wide variety of artistic resources easily accessible through the Internet, many of which deal with economic issues that can be analyzed in the classroom.
